Caring for your outdoor timber furniture is an easy process. Left to weather naturally, outdoor timber changes over time, with most fading to a light grey colour as pigments in the surface layer of the wood begin to fade away. For regular care, use a soft-bristle brush and a solution of mild dishwashing liquid and water to remove any dirt. For stubborn stains or scratches, use extra-fine sandpaper (minimum 320 grit) to sand in the direction of the grain.

Timber is a natural product that will respond to its environmental conditions, we recommend you try to avoid placing timber outdoor furniture where there may be pooling of water. Using felt stoppers when you place decorative objects on the surface, will help to prevent scratches or marks. The use of cleaners, polishes, or abrasive materials may damage the finish of the piece.
