Caring for your painted piece is an easy process. Simply wipe down with a dry lint free cloth. If you spill water or other substances on the surface, we suggest you wipe it down quickly to prevent it penetrating the timber. To protect the surface from heat, always use a trivet or a coaster underneath hot plates, pans, or mugs. Using felt stoppers when you place decorative objects on the surface, will help to prevent scratches or marks. The use of cleaners, polishes, or abrasive materials may damage the finish of the piece.

If after a couple of years, you feel your piece is looking a little dull, you may choose to wax your piece. We suggest using clear bees wax, which is available at most hardware stores. Timber is a natural product that will respond to its environmental conditions, we recommend you try to avoid sudden extreme variations in temperature.
