Given its handmade and hand-finished nature, variations in the wood are to be expected and celebrated. Each item is unique and no two are exactly alike. Use placemats or trivets under hot items and coasters under beverages to prevent marks and stains. To avoid scratches, do not place sharp or jagged objects directly on the tabletop. Wipe with a soft, damp cloth; avoid the use of harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaning materials.
