The Spindle collection is inspired by the traditional spinning wheel. The rhythm formed by the perfectly aligned spokes creates the sensation of familiarity and continuity. The slightly tapered legs and rounded edges add a soft, comforting quality.
The clean lines and minimalist design of the Spindle series create a timeless aesthetic that can complement various interior styles, from contemporary to rustic.
Each piece in the Spindle series is defined by its signature spindle elements, adding a touch of sophistication and visual interest to the furniture.
THE DESIGNER
Inspired by observation of the visual environment, Nathan Yong challenges the existential questions of the objects. Instead of superfluous details, he captures the poetry of products through a stripping process. Objects lend qualities that are informed by a lightness of restraints.
Based in Singapore, Nathan runs a multi-disciplinary design consultancy spanning fields such as graphic, industrial, interior and architectural design, along with strategic planning in product development, manufacturing process and branding.
Inspired by the traditional European spinning wheel, the Ethnicraft Oak Spindle bed frame showcases an elegant curved headboard crafted from evenly spaced oak poles, defining its unique and timeless design. Crafted from solid light-colored European oak, this bed is a versatile addition that effortlessly complements any bedroom aesthetic. The bedframe is coated with a durable clear lacquer finish, maintaining its appearance and guaranteeing easy maintenance. Achieve seamless bedroom harmony by pairing the Spindle bed frame with our Spindle bedside table. A perfect combination for cohesive and stylish bedroom decor. The mattress is supported by a robust bed base system featuring a metal frame and European poplar plywood slats. Additional stability is provided by a metal center support bar and attached leg for lasting durability. Available in four sizes:
Australian Queen, Australian King, Singapore Queen, and Singapore King.For regular care, wipe the surface with a dry (lint-free) cloth. For oil and food stains use a damp cloth to wipe stains and follow with a clean dry cloth.

A delivery fee applies to all purchases (per order, per location), inclusive of assembly & placement of free-standing items. Our delivery team operates from Tuesday to Saturday every week excluding Thursday and public holidays. Our delivery charges are $30 for all orders under $500 & $80 for all orders exceeding $500.
